Dr. Natalie Saldivar’s passion is helping others and creating the most comfortable dental experience for her patients. Dr. Saldivar grew up in Southern Idaho and attended Boise State University where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science Studies. After graduation, she attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona.
Dr. Saldivar completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program, and directly after residency proudly served as an active duty Navy dentist. Dr. Saldivar deployed on the aircraft carrier USS NIMITZ and still serves as a Selective Reservist each month. Dr. Saldivar constantly expands her knowledge and stays at the forefront of cosmetic and family dentistry through continuing education. She is a member of several local and national dental societies and local study clubs. Dr. Saldivar is also continuing her education on the oral-systemic connection, paying special attention to emerging science and the latest technologies to reduce risk factors and assure better health for her patients.
Dr. Saldivar is very active in the community and loves to volunteer. She has traveled to several different countries to perform dental mission trips and has coordinated local events for Children’s Dental Health Month.
When Dr. Saldivar is not looking after her patients, she can be found hiking or enjoying San Diego’s wonderful beaches with her husband (Dan), daughters (Ariana and Lillian), and dog (Maggie). She also loves a good book- so let her know your recommendations at your next visit!
